I can’t believe how fast this little guy is growing up…..it seems like he was just in for his newborn photos and here we are already at six months. Alex just keeps getting more and more adorable! He gave us so many great smiles today and has the cutest mouth-wide-open grin! I really couldn’t choose today, so you get a couple extra bonus shots for the blog post.

I finally get to introduce you to the newest member of the Green family, little Aiden! His mom and dad had his maternity session a few months ago, and he has now arrived safe and sound into the world. We did Aiden’s session at their home, mainly in his nursery. I think this is a great way to get the little guys (& gals) in their environment and a gives us a great opportunity to show off those super cute baby decorations! Aiden did great, he was awake & happy for most of the session, finally dozing off towards the end. He did manage to get me during the naked baby portion of the shoot, but really, who can be upset with this cute little guy!

I visited the Reeves family in Spring Hill last week to capture some in home photos of their newest edition, Eli. He is actually about 3 weeks old in these photos, and still so small and cuddly! Their home was great in work in, lots of light! They also had a great red armchair and ottoman that I loved! I actually threatened to start bringing strangers over to their house just so I could use it in more sessions! We focused on Eli, and also got images with big brother Asa and the whole family.

Alex + his mom & dad (Alissa and Nick) came in this week for Alex’s three-month update. It never ceases to amaze me how much the little guys grow in that short amount of time. Alex did great during his session! He also had some super cute outfits, including this motorcycle number in the last shot.
So good to see you guys and I’m looking forward to capturing all the changes the next three months bring!

Did I mention I love my job? Who could complain about getting to photograph these beautiful children and their families?! I was fortunate to be able to document the six month birthday of Miss Reese, along with her parents Hannah & Jon. They are such a cute family! We got SO many great shots of Reese, who seemed very happy to have her first professional photo shoot. Check out those legs in those great rain boots!

The King twins (and their parents, Crystal & Nathan) came into the studio last week for their six month photos! Carlton and William are really showing their personalities, and we got some great shots of them! These little guys are seriously cute. Well, he never really left, but this is his fourth session with me for his 9 month photos. I really can’t believe how fast time goes by and nothing makes that more apparent than when you are photographing the first year of a little one’s life. So, once again, I had great difficulty choosing which to use for the blog. I even involved the help of my husband and still have more to post than usual :) Allen gives the cutest expressions, and cracks up with the best crooked little smile! His mom, Robin, brought along a wooden block with an A on it to include in his shoot, great idea! It even matched his outfit.

This weekend I had the pleasure of capturing Olivia’s Annaprasan. What is Annaprasan, you ask? It is a traditional Hindu ceremony marking the period when an infant is slowly weened off of milk to eating solids. Olivia’s parents, Shilina and Devon, had a luncheon for her to commemorate this milestone in her life at the lovely Peacock Ballroom in Lennox Village. Olivia was all decked out in a beautiful sari, and really could not have been any cuter! She loved getting her portrait taken and seemed to have a great time on her big day with her relatives and friends.

This little guy is just so cute! I love all the expressions he was giving me already at just one month. He wasn’t so happy to see me at first, but came around quickly and did great! His mom, Alissa, jumped in for a few, getting some great newborn & mommy and me shots. Hope you enjoy the preview!

The Rogers family came in last week to get photos for their Christmas card, updated shots of their adorable 2-year-old Breccan and some first photos their beautiful 2 month old little girl, Briar. (Don’t they have great names!) The kids were so cute, Briar was awake and alert for almost the entire session and Breccan was so excited about the trains, which went by every ten minutes that day!
