Emma’s 2nd Birthday! Nashville, TN Children’s Photography June 23, 2010

I had a great time spending the day after my birthday shooting little Emma’s 2nd birthday party.  She had a fabulous birthday cake, made by Rebecca Fentress Miller with The Bakery Next Door out of Greenbrier, TN.  Emma was super cute and definitely had a great time at her party, along with big brother Chas and big sister Iley!  They even had a hot dog warmer (not sure exactly what that would be called)  going for the kids.  My favorite part though, is the genius way this little girl went about eating her cupcake…….

Olivia’s Annaprasan-Nashville, TN February 9, 2010

This weekend I had the pleasure of capturing Olivia’s Annaprasan.  What is Annaprasan, you ask? It is a traditional Hindu ceremony marking the period when an infant is slowly weened off of milk to eating solids.  Olivia’s parents, Shilina and Devon, had a luncheon for her to commemorate this milestone in her life at the lovely Peacock Ballroom in Lennox Village.   Olivia was all decked out in a beautiful sari, and really could not have been any cuter!  She loved getting her portrait taken and seemed to have a great time on her big day with her relatives and friends.

Meet Fools for Rowan! November 16, 2009

Fools for Rowan is a great new rock band coming out of Nashville with a strong female lead singer who can really belt it out!  All the band members were so nice and really talented and I wish them all the best.  Thanks Shaye (with Lava Lamp Records) for inviting me out to photograph this fun event!
