Just wanted to update everyone on some of the odds and ends that have gone on recently. I hope you are staying warm and cozy on this cold and icy evening!
Most importantly, I wanted to share some great ways to help in raising funds for Haiti. Ashley, of Ashley’s Bride Guide, wrote a great post about this on her blog. She is donating $5 for everyone who puts her 2010 bumper stickers on her car. Many other wedding vendors, including your truly, are offering specials and different ways to take part to raise money for this great cause. I was a part of the Unabridged Bride booth at Weddings the Bridal Show a few weeks ago. I was there with Liza Hippler, of Maiden to Married, Kristen McBride, RKC (Russian Kettlebell Challenge Instructor) with Tennessee Kettlebells, and Marie McKinney-Oats, with the Nashville Marriage Studio. We had a great time meeting and talking with all the brides (and grooms) that day! We are all speakers (among many others) at the Unabridged Bride workshops. Here’s a photo of us at the event!
Earlier this week I participated in a shooting workshop (camera:) and caught this moment from the sidelines. Thanks to our great couple for volunteering to stand out in the cold and freeze for our learning purposes. You guys rock!
